Need Help/advice Italian M33 emblem

I have obtained a stencil for painting insignia on M33 Italian helmet. Would it be more authentic to brush paint or spray paint ?
Does anyone know if late-war RSI used the same markings as early-war helmets?

hi skip im no expert but i would say brush it for a more textured finish
