Swedish M37 helmets

Hi everyone, it took me a good 15 minutes finding where to put my helmet, this thread as been active lately so here is my M37/65 camo pattern helmet.
Characteristics of this model are well known so I'll skip them & present nice photos taking as the rain started. Enjoy.

This helmet is one of those "what's the front or back side of this helmet?"


I was able to figure it with the sweat band snaps location, so here's the back.






You cannot see it but the top of the crown seem flat a bit when touching it,
same feeling inside, could this helmet be an ex M37/62 modified 65?

The helmet size is 75. Above it we can see part of one of the 3 crowns.








I like that Swedish National Insignia, the tree crowns. Here are both sides.

No idea why this got such an absurd price. Nothing unusual that I can see. It is a nice example, very good condition, but this is not a rare or even uncommon helmet. The bidding is odd - one person obviously put in a very high bid which was pushed to its limit and then beaten. Sometimes people with more money than sense get into a bidding war and just won't stop. But why bid more than 100 euro for this in the first place - well, maybe just because its a nice example! (50 euro would have been too much for me and I really like these helmets.)

1- Marketing gimmick using simple words that brings extra money in: last one, original, rare, world war... WH, SS, airborne, special forces, foreign legion, decal, Stalingrad, Normandie, bring back from... Found in old house, cellar, attic...

2 - Misinformed or clueless buyers.

3 - Impulsive purchasing.

I see examples all the time.

Probably a nice example of the Swedish M37/62. I'm not being flippant here, that's just what it is. A good helmet.
