Unknown helmet with visor

This helmet is for sale locally to me, there is only one photo of it, they guy describes it as a WW2 Shrapnel Helmet, I’ve been looking to find anything like it but I can’t, does anyone know what the helmet is? Thank you

I think it's used in a foundry to shield a worker from heat and sparks from a
pot of molten metal.

Looks like a plastic chinstrap, probably from the 80s or newer

looks like it has a modern French style chin cup as used on the French M78 helmet
