Looks to be a custom job. The liner is out of a Swiss m71 helmet.

The shell is an original M40 ET64 and lot 3120 which some writers place around ( Aug / Sept 1941 ) so I say a "biker Helmet"

As I don't recognize the liner I cant comment on that.

That's a very clever and professional looking modification to this shell, the Swiss liner look's like it was almost designed for the shell, thanks for sharing

Somebody probably sanded off that yucky old paint and threw away that rotten old leather inside grandad's old helmet and got Jerry down at the shop to chrome it for a case of Natty Light to make that.
