Terrible news. I had the chance to do one of those flights at a charity for veterans car and air show a few years ago, but I passed. Was feeling a little tight in the wallet (tickets weren't cheap) and didn't bite.

Todd: is it true that it is very noisy to fly in one of those old four-engines?

Not only noisy but very drafty. They were not sealed or pressurized like a modern plane.

It must be an experience. I would like to have the possibility to do it, although I don't know if, when the time comes, I would gather the necessary value.
In Madrid I think they have an operational JU-52, but that scares me even more.

    Best regards

I had to shuffle out of a Air Force C 130 five times. Cured me of any strong desire to go sky diving. Never say never... but...

Skydiving is a wonderful experience, nothing like jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft.
