    Hey Everyone,

I am posting here because I do not know the origin or even what they are.

Owner claims they are Roman Empire Swords... , but I think it is safe to rule that out..lol

Does anyone know or even seen anything like this? They are machined and are dated 1943. Not sure if they are even military, or if they are weapons or tools?

I do not see them as weapons to be held with the hand due to the lack of a cross guard. So if you tried to stab with one of these you would probably end up cutting your own fingers off as your hand slid from the hilt up the blade, but who knows.

    Any help appreciated.

I think you are getting warm with tools. Certainly seem more industrial, numerous possibilities from tannery, cheese making, etc. Definitely not military.

Well fella, I am pretty sure I read "This forum is for Gold Club members only. Any subjects allowed, bar religion and politics." so I think I am just fine thank you.

    Thanks for the input.
I also think that is the answer. I was just hoping someone had seen something like this before because I am really curious as I have never seen anything like it.
