I visited the dentist today....thats “ornithologistologistygist” in the US.....phone call at the front door....ring the bell and then wait.....then questioned on the doorstep.......then scanned for temperature.....then 2 steps inside and hand gel.....then escorted (3 yards) to the mark on the floor near the slotted-screened desk......then the 2nd quizzing........apparently I’ll be sent forms to read and “sign”....to make the next visit better.......I’m looking forward to seeing how the guy sees my teeth through my mask next visit...

I went to the optician (glasses bloke) last week, same thing, no more drop in, appointment only for anything, they told me that are they are open 80% of the time they were previously but seeing more people - convert that to making more money in less time.

There is a lot to said for social distancing, get you in get you out, no more inane chit chat.

Hey a positive! Wifey loves the lock down for her work (she's on the road posting advertising posters/cleaning at bus stops etc), little traffic, little graffiti, little chit chat from the public & the public toilets are clean for use! Always home with a smile

The Sh*t is going to hit the fan here in the US in the next few days after we just came off of a Holiday weekend that jammed state parks ..resorts and beaches everywhere. ...As of yesterday in Pennsylvania and New Jersey ..restaurants were allowed to reopen for indoor dining at reduced capacity. So short lived as they will be closed down again very soon. On top of the regular flu season here.

In the UK we’ve lost a lot of time by folk claiming things aren’t clear....and things being “confusing” apparently......”keep your distance, masks are good and wash your hands a lot” can be sooooo misunderstood right? Derrrrrr!!!!
