Default 1914-15 star medal help on name research

A friend of mine recently found a few medals in a box.....in a closet, belongs to her husbands side of the family. I offered to frame the medals and other things as a gift.
My question, does anyone know where and if I can find info on the medals owner?
I tried a few searches, nothing. I have the background on the Lovat scouts, but nothing on W.Cameron.

So I ask my fellow forum members for help or advice. I thank you all for any help.

1907 William Cameron's service record is available on Findmypast. He signed up in 1911, embarked for Gallipoli Sept 7, 1915, and landed at Suvla Bay on Sept. 28, 1915. He was discharged in 1916.

Thank you Blackcat. In the back of the frame is an envelope with all the material the forum members dug up. I am delighted to bring back a man a hundred years later, These brave men should never be left forgotten in a box in a closet. Once again, thank you.
