AEF uniform ID'd to Forrest Jackson Perry of Supply Company, 353rd Infantry Regiment, 89th Division
This uniform belonged to Forrest Jackson Perry of Aurora, Kansas. He served as a Wagoner with the Supply Company, 353rd Infantry Regiment, 89th Division. His uniform features a beautiful 353rd Infantry, 89th Division patch and a small 3rd Army patch stitched above the service chevrons.
He left for Europe on June 4, 1918 aboard the RMS Caronia, arriving in Liverpool on June 16th. He returned to the states on May 22, 1919. After military service, he married Myrtle Ann Bailey in October of 1919 and went into business with his brother-in-law, Lawrence Bailey. Forrest J. Perry passed away on January 18, 1977. Age 82.
