ARS 17 Gas Mask

Article about: Hello folks. A few days ago, I was lucky enough to pick this one up off eBay. These are not easy to find intact, and while the facepiece has hardened, it is at least still all together. The

    Okay, thank you! May I ask why shouldn't I store It in the canister and where should I store It instead?

    If the canister is a tight fit, it can be easy to accidentally damage the mask when you pull it out. The less you have to do that, the less likely it is to get damaged. The best solution is to keep the mask with the container but not inside it.

    I keep a lot of my masks in separate places from their containers, with labels to identify each one. Masks on their own are wrapped in plastic or tissue paper, and kept in a cupboard or drawer away from light and heat. How you store yours is up to you, whichever works best for you. Anywhere away from heat and sunlight is good.
