Did not see him on the CWGC website. So it looks like he probably survived the war at least. You could try the 1901 census for someone baby to 20?.

Enlisted Aldershot 25th October 1915 aged 22.
Lived 4 Pollard St, Nelson Lancs. Married with one son.
Served BEF 28th April 1916 to 17th June 1919. Demobilised 15th July 1919.
Landed at Rouen. Initially posted to 17 Field Ambulance.
