I just found this pic in an article about the 12th Battle of Isonzo, oct.-dec. 1917.
I found it curious that the guy operating the machine-gun wears a german-style helmet the other way round (backside in front).
What do you think about it?

The man just behind the machine gunner and the fellow lower left are wearing their helmets backwards also.
