    Default Royal Artillery sweetheart embroidery

Hi Guys, I was kindly given this by my friend Colin who is in my re-enactment unit and is also a forum member here. He does block paving for a living and a customer of his asked him to clear out her shed and throw all the junk away! She deemed this to be junk. He rescued it knowing I would like it.

The embroidery is actually Chinese made. Note the spelling mistake in the word "Victory".

Originally the background cloth was a deep Royal Blue, which has badly faded over the years. The photo shows a Sgt of the RA.

    Cheers, Ade.
