United States World War I Hat Insignia, Veteran Medal 1917-1919 New York State

Hi, i recently received these items from an estate auction. I thought this hat insignia may be WW2 or Air Force but seems older...came with WWI Service Medal MINI from New York State.

The Illinois Badge is from a veteran in Chicago.

Not sure about value, rarity or even if these are WWI items but Certainly look forward to expanding my knowledge past my "comfort zone" and picking up items like these when I have the chance if they are any good!
