Hi Raymond,
You have the item in hand so the decision on authenticity is yours alone , for me personally having seen many commemorative items at German veterans homes and at reunions i would pass on it but that is only my opnion,

Paul

I think i've seen one of these on fleabay recently, is this it?. Again a veteran piece similar circumstances to yours. Have you posted this item on any other sites?
OK the wording is actually " Denke dran" which means "remember " , anyone got any comments on the authenticity of the skull ??

Raymond having re read the posts and ascertained the actual meaning of the phrase i agree it could well be a post war commemorative piece, my concern is that there is nothing to suggest it is a T Divison piece other than the skull which was used by all SS Units , hope this clarifies my earlier comments,
I am very interested in the skull , if it's good you have yourself a real bargain

i really like the piece, seen these before also with other phrase's on them.
For 35 pounds I would concern myself too much, nice decorator.
Hi paul , i agree with you there is nothing solid to say that is a TK Division piece only what i was told , and as we all know that has to be taken with a grain of salt . But it could be , just as it may never have been , and we will probaly never know ,in that respect i take it as it is , a nice looking object , thanks for your input . Yes this was posted on ebay for a short time , the guy was so pissed off that there were so many watchers he pulled it , i talked to him offered him a price and the deal was done . Thanks for the comments and input guys cheers Raymond
Hopefully someone will comment on the Skull as it's not my area , as i say Raymond if it's real you have a great bargain , if not it's still a nice piece
