Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Pith Helmet for review

Hello friends,

I have recently added this 1st pattern Luftwaffe tropenhelm in great condition to my collection and would be grateful for comments/opinions. To me all looks good; it compares well with the few other examples posted here, the insignia are tight with all prongs in place and have a nice patina. Good detailing to the eagle, national shield is pebbled, etc. The inside of the leather sweatband is marked size '56' and 'Sommerfelder Hutfabrik, H & W Lembert'. The year is likely '1941' but it appears the first '1' didn't print on the leather for whatever reason. I'm quite confident in it but am as always open to correction.

It does look like a fine example to me.

I will leave it to others to confirm if the insignia is correct but I'm not seeing any reason to believe they are not.

Forgive the bump - just hoping someone more versed in these things might have missed this. Again, I'm not really worried about anything here but would be glad of confirmation.
