Funny thing is that you never see them actually being worn--they are really just a fashion statement.
The problem with them is that they do not really sit flush against the face, and I have no doubt that both sand and gas could easily have passed thru the gaps.
Anyway, if any one has any examples, please post them here!

You can still find them for sale today, even on Ebay.
However, age is not usually kind to them--the top portion is made out of an oilcloth, which usually sticks to the packaging (or the lenses themselves).

Resently redicovered these . Made into the 50's in Canada .
Last W&PR I got a full envelope from the original crate for £1 or 2, the guy must have had several hundreds of those envelopes. war-dated with a re-pack lable from 1953 I think.

I "uniquely" remember Unique Imports having bought my first M35 from them as a child and I remember these goggles as well.
Interesting too, that even as a kid I knew the story of how Rommel got these from a British POW. Everyone always thought they were German.
