That first pic is my dads brother (my Uncle). He was a year older and went to the Philippines too. I'm not sure if he was a radar tech or had something to do with communications. Maybe both. My dad was a mechanic in the motor pool. He was shipped off when he was 18. He passed at 82 in 2010. Another pic of my Uncle (on the right) attached. He lived to be 91.

Looks like they are living in a Quonset hut. And like the "pin ups" on the wall!
