I might be appearing a bit picky, but for such a near unworn example in terrific condition, to me it doesnt make sense that the adler has been applied crooked, im wondering if this has been replaced and someone , not very good at sewing, has applied this, i cant see it leaving the makers like this, it would have been sorted at the quality control stage, but i would wait for other comments, Ben VK might have a look at this
BTW I've never seen this "Fewegla" factory. Does anyone have an idea about it?
Metal!!!, theyre ok but bullion for a cap like this is a must, they show a much better class and i would think this would have been a private purchase
The cap is made by Felix Weissbach of Glauchau and seems to be an authentic example in very good condition. Have a look inside the cap at the card pasteboard to see if there are any holes from a metal wreath and kokarde having once been there. The eagle is a bit crooked, the centre of the head should line up with the seam of the cap.
Hi
Nice cap.
Looks as if the eagle may have been re-applied but the cap is in mint condition.
