I would like to bring this post back to the top.
This edged weapon is a very interesting bayonet which also has excellent properties as a combat knife.
Yesterday I received another copy which is in mint condition.
The blade is well greased and clearly this Zastava M1956 bayonet has never been issued.
This is also not a bayonet that has been reworked for sale on the "civilian" surplus market.
Bayonets of this type can be easily recognized by their deep black burnished blades and sheaths, the tip of the blade is often "blunt".
M1956 bayonets that have been reworked in this way are often accompanied by replica frogs for the civilian market.
I photographed my M1956 bayonet for the Zastava M1956 submachine gun in 7.62x25mm caliber in detail and tried to photograph the various stamps (control stamp, serial number, part numbers) as accurately as possible and will show the pictures here in the thread in three blocks.
I think this bayonet, which is also a combat knife, is worth showing and documenting in more detail.
