Gents, if you have any lugers between 1934 - 1945 including Ku, K & G code lugers can you post them here? I will try and keep a record on the front page of maker, year and serial number for reference
1. 1936 S/42 Mauser Serial No: 622h
2. 1941 byf Mauser Serial No: 6125q
3. 1937 S/42 Mauser Serial No: 3299
4. 1942 byf Mauser Serial No: 697
5. 1940 "42" Mauser Serial No: 8291c
6. 1941 "42" Mauser Serial No: Ku 3418

Ben it appears both of those have been de-comishened. I see on the 1936 they cut the lower part of the barrel and made several vertical cuts in the bolt. On the 41 it looks as if they milled the front of the bolt face at an angle. What all do they do to these when they de-comishen them? No offence but it is a shame to see them cut up like that.

I am afraid in the UK thats the way it is, its either this or they get melted down!!

That's such a shame to hear Ben. It seems like they could make an exemption for antiques and history.
