FJ M38 Helmet Shell + M42 Heer Camo -- Good or not?
Hey guys.
While browsing around the Internet, I recently found this Fallschirmjager M38 helmet shell: Tropical bread bag strap
I also found another M42 Heer camo helmet: WW2 Named German M42 Green Camouflaged Army Helmet CKL66 | WW2 German Helmets, WWII Japanese Helmets, WW2 US Helmets!
Are either of these helmets real or fake? Some help would be most desirable!

Fallschirmjager helmet is a fake. The liner bolts set to high. They are in line with vent holes on regular helmet. A shell has been remade into Fallschirmjager and artificially aged. In my opinion.
The camo helmet appears to be good. A hands on inspection is always a wise move when buying one.

Re: FJ M38 Helmet Shell + M42 Heer Camo -- Good or not?
I am not very good judging camo's from pictures, but can tell you that I have purchased from this dealer, and he is a stand up guy. I recently bought an M42 SD SS lid that is 100% RIGHT (it is actually the one to the left of the Japanese helmet in the row of 3 on the home page of his site), and the other pieces on his site all seem to me to be correct. He is fair, his prices are reasonable, and he offers a guarantee. Others that I know who have dealt with him have been satisfied. I hope this information helps. Jim G.

I wouldn't have a problem with the camo. As Jim said, prices are on par, and good photos makes you feel easier
