I did not know that they made a tornister for radio equipment this is the first example that I have seen it looks to be in awsome condition very nice find congrats.

Thank you for the information JPhilip I do believe my tornister m39 is a regular wehrmacht issue and there are quite a few diffrences between the models .

Yes,Almost impossible to find German militaria.
But I find a lot of people like them.
So we buy them on ebay.

Hi folks, This is a Fernsprechtornister - NOT a radio pack. It held field phone equipment. It is missing the internal shelves - a very common issue with these packs. The field phone equipment was updated in the early 30s and the three packs were part of that upgrade. NH
