    Hi,
Before christmas Ade gave me an idea of a scratch built launch
ramp fo my V1 bomb. I have been doing it bit here and there,
and finished it today. There is a bit of artistic licence gone int it,
s it,s not perfect but i think it will do the job. Materials used were,
the box it came in, two cocktail sticks, wood glue and paint.
    Hope you like it.

Bloody hell Dave! That's brilliant! And with the materials used, that shows what a first class modeler you are! I'm impressed, it's great!

All ya gotta do now is point it towards London....maybe Downing Street.

    Regards, Ned.

    Hi Ned,
Thanks for the comment mate really appreciate that, I looked at loads of pics to get an idea of what they look like but still had to put some bits in myself. the box came handy though, i was going to use balsa, but the box was already there.
    Dave.
Dont think old Brownie would like that lol

Great work dave, I bet that was fun. Nice camo paint job. I love the V-1 model. I haven't been able to find the model in the States. Steve T sent me a link to a model company in U.K. but they've been sold out of V-1 models for weeks, so you've got a rare one of a kind launcher and rare V-1 model.

I have never seen an up close color photograph of a launcher. Dave, no B.S. you did an incredible job of fabricating and painting that launcher. I have my nine year old son as excited as I am to build the V-1 model. He wants to hang it above his bunk bed I don't know how long it would last if we did that. If you stumble on a company that sells the model, I would appreciate that info.

    Thanks,
    Jay
