It is, in my opinion, a reproduction: font of maker mark, the serial number engraving, & artificial (chemical) patination of the reverse. Please compare to #9221, my apologies for picture quality from the catalogue of the recent New York Auction, and which sold, if memory serves me correctly, for $1800 plus 18% commission.
