Well the beret is General Service not paratrooper.... no paratrooper badge...
Hello
There was a Capt. Hieronim Kedzierski who served in 4th Cadre Rifles Brigade. He is listed in Lorys list as para badge receipient. He retired very soon because of bad health conditions.
This set doesn't contain para beret. Maybe this soldier served during occupational duty with 1st Para Bde but he was not para trained.

I was thinking the cap was a Tam O Shanter rather than a GS as it does not appear to have the pair of vent holes that my GS caps have, whilst my Tammy does not have them. Obviously the liner has been removed, possibly because it was dated.

Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
There were of course troops serving with the 1SBS who did not qualify as paratroops.
.. Cooks, some medics, transport personnel etc ....

This i just bought in auction. Have not ever seen one before. Very interesting , it is a blessing from a Polish Priest in Buffalo NY to Tadeusz Jablonski. It says : "Let God Bless Tadeusz Jablonski for his duty to Fatherland. I will pray for a care for him during Holy Mass. "
Parish Matki Boskiej Czestochowskiej, Buffalo, NY.
It was printed in 1942.

Any thoughts on this battle dress blouse? Bad or original and cheap?
