French 1950's (?) 2ieme REP pin insignia

​I just received this nice item, a pin insignia of the 2e Régiment étranger de parachutistes. Made by Drago of Paris and I guess in the mid-to-late 1950's so it might be original Indochina. The seller had no idea what it was so the price was VERY friendly Anyone have an idea if my period-estimate is correct? The 'blue' in the shield is actually a pale moss-green​

This is one BEP, Bataillon Etranger Parachutiste.

Thanks! I'm pretty sure it's 2ieme (not 1iere) BEP/REP though; it will depend on when the insignia was made whether it will be battalion (1948-1955) or regiment (1st December 1955 onwards)
