A friend of mine has spotted this EM SS runic Tab and is looking for an opinion (he is not a member of this forum, but I am so I will try to help him thanks to your help)

Do you think this is an original tunic removed ?

The rank tab looks like he may have been promoted (Uschaf. - Schaf.) in the field.

My friend just posted his newly acquired tabs on another forum and sent me the
pics.

He is not on this forum but would like to thank you for your advice before buying
