A great book. I have one of Michael Hazelgrove’s featured WW1 German camo helmets in my collection.
Leutnant Beimann’s M16 camo Helmet.

TIN LIDS Canadian Combat Helmets Second Edition
Praise to a collector who makes the jump to write a book about helmets. It's a challenge. Sometime compromises have to be done to be able to publish. Roger Lucy manage to guide us from the first tin lid issued to Canadians in 1915 up to the Canadian composite helmets being issued in 1997. Includes also Civil Defence, motorcycle, tank crew, paratrooper & prototype model helmets. There is a lot of information & interesting details for a book limited to 48 pages.

RUSSIAN HELMETS: from Kaska to Stalshlyem 1916-2001
Nice small format book about Russian helmets with a good review of early models up to the Ssh-36 & Ssh-39, the mass production during WW2 of the Ssh-40, the Cold war Ssh-40, Ssh-60 & Ssh-68 up to the modern composite & titanium helmets. Russian helmets are a huge topic, Robert Clawson managed to do a good chronological overview of many helmets. You should be able to find information about the main Russian helmets & also of some rare models. The book is well illustrated with many photographs, drawings & even nice period posters.

Superb large format book (9×12") dedicated to the US "fixed bail" M-1 helmet of WW 2. The book covers the development of the M-1 helmet in detail with outstanding photography. Be aware, you will see only M-1s manufactured with fixed bales (up to 1943).
