    Default WW2 Bulgarian M36C

A nice helmet landed on my doorstep today from our friend and member Ripper.

Ripper was kind enough to send me this beauty. An all original M36c with great pea green paint, liner as well as still retaining the decal. These helmets were used long after the war so I have read that finding an untouched example is hard to find. Being a type C, this example was most likely made in Bulgaria. (Just don't ask me to explain the difference between the A, B and C types )

The M36 was designed after the German M16

    Hope you enjoy it.

    And thanks again to Ripper.

    Regards,

    Michael

Nice helmet Michael and funny I post one of mine up yesterday! These with the decals are a little trickier to find. Post war ones, the shields are painted on.

Thanks Gunny. Forgot about this site. Just looked and now easy to see most of the differences.

Yes. I saw that and had a chuckle to myself as I knew this one as on its way...just was not sure when it was going to arrive. Thanks!

reneblacky mint model As are almost impossible to find in mint condition, most of them are in collector hands already, and dont let me even get strated on the model B.
There was one model B with a 50% decal for sale here in Bulgaria last year, but it was in a poor condition.
    Here's my model A.
