Photo of the march on Poland
An early war photograph in my collection that is quite interesting. It was taken during the invasion of Poland as is written on the reverse. The man in the foreground is the lone bicyclist and the tricolor of his helmet is in view. The others march on foot through the mud. Could anyone tell me what the rubberized jackets are that are being worn, it looks to be mass issued?
