Hi Dimas was not even one issued to the Polish army?
How much do these go for when up for sale?
Thanks
They was sent for approval to the Polish army I think in the March or Mai of 1939 year, and as unconfirmed information as WZ 39, but that was ammount for about 500 pieces I think. Estonia get it in August of 1939 year. I think ammount of the helmets was approx 4000-5000 pcs, which arrives Estonia, approx 5% of them was wrongly sent WZ 31 helmets, I have seen one of them battlefield found in Estonia

I didn't know these helmets had gone through Poland before arriving in Estonia, very interesting information!
I know that at least one of these helmets were produced by Sandvikens Jernverk, it would be likely if they had made the entire batch as the model differs from the Swedish m/37.
Being a Swede and a collector of Swedish helmets I'd be extremely happy to get my hands on of these helmets! So if anyone has any for sale, please contact me!
